As a graphic design intern at Momentum for Change at the Communication and Outreach programme, my main assignment was to support the team in implementing their communication initiatives on the web. This implied the realization of various kinds of graphical artifacts designed according to the communication priorities of the moment.One of such priorities have been the COP 20 in Lima.

The preparation work towards this event was the main vector of the whole Communication and Outreach department for a couple of month and coincided with the most intense period of work for me. For the occasion I prepared a set of twelve infographics for the so called Lighthouse Activities. This are a selection of the most promising projects around the world which represent tangible examples of action against climate change. From point of view of graphic-design the challenge was to present the whole thing in a narrative and immediate way by highlighting the most relevant data for each of the twelve selected Lighthouse Activities. The work was carried out in team with other interns and members of the department who helped to gather data about the projects, copywriting and outlining the information architecture.

Besides this I was involved also in more short-term and operational tasks by taking part in brainstorming sessions, realizing various web page elements as well as illustrations and web-cards.
